I contacted Dean & Tyler to ask which type of muzzle would work best for my dog. My 8 yr old Weimaraner has Lupus, which in turn has left his nose unable to heal from cuts, we have been given ointment to put on nose which is very strong, but has to sit on nose for 20-30min to be absorbed, he kept licking it off and I needed something to keep him from being able to lick.
Dean & Tyler customer service was great at recommending which muzzle would work for him and even suggested adding one more hole to tighten it up as to prevent possible licking.
The muzzle arrived and we tried it right away and it work's great!! If it was not for medical reason's I would not ever use muzzle, but it is crafted really well and even though our dog does lot like it, it is comfortable and he does not fight it, straps are all right length and I am able to fit it well to the dog.
