I am very happy with this collar. Switched to a choke from martingale because my giant puppy was becoming too protective of me on leash and I had problems holding him sometimes. The choke works as I was hoping to. It is flat and wide enough so seems to be comfortable for my dog to wear. It looks good and expensive - I have it in brown leather with brass hardware. I like the convertible feature - depending on which ring you attach the leash to, it's either a choke or a regular collar.
